Award-winning pop artist Lana Del Rey recently married Jeremy Dufrene, an alligator tour guide.

The ceremony took place on September 26th in Louisiana, near where Dufrene performs his swamp

tours. The couple had been together only four months before they decided to tie the knot. The couple

met when Lana took a boat tour in March of 2019 while visiting Des Allemands to perform her music,

saying she couldn’t be in Louisiana without taking one.

Del Rey is famous for her music, she has produced nine studio albums and is in the process of

making another named Lasso. She started her career in 2008 when she dropped an EP titled “Kill Kill”

under the name Lizzy Grant. Del Rey’s music draws inspiration from old Hollywood glamour, tragic

romances, and nostalgia from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Del Rey has won many awards for her music and

music videos including the MTV Video Music Awards for her songs “West Coast”, “Doin’ Time”, and

“Candy Necklace”. The pop artist has also been nominated for the Grammys awards such as Album Of

The Year.

This marriage is not the first one for Dufrene; he had previously been married. Dufrene had three

children with his ex-wife, two daughters, and a son. Dufrene filed for divorce back in 2013. Dufrene was

also engaged for 12 years to Kelli Walsh until they broke it off in October of 2023. Both exes are on good

terms with Dufrene and support his new marriage to his millionaire wife. “I will say that he really does

look happy with her. And she does with him which is a good thing to see. It’s not a fake happy- he truly is

in love with her.” Walsh said according to Harper’s Bazaar.

Del Rey walked down the aisle donning a flowing white dress and a curled ponytail draped over

her shoulder, tied with a light blue satin ribbon. Dufrene was seen wearing a black suit and brown dress

shoes. Del Rey’s father, Rob Grant was pictured walking her down the aisle. The pair had a very

reserved wedding with only close friends and family attending. The couple has kept their relationship

private with few public sightings and social media posts. According to US Weekly, Del Rey said “Jeremy

is the one and only. And we’re very happy,”.
